: Are you qualified?

Most definately! I am highly professional and possess nationally recognised qualifications.

I belong to The International Federation Of Professional Aromatherapists, and I am committed to an ongoing programme of training and continued professional development.


Q: Is Aromatherapy suitable for me?

A: You need to make me aware of any health problems that you may have, or if you are pregnant or trying to conceive.

Prior to treatment you will be asked to complete a medical questionnaire, this will allow me to ascertain whether there are any medical reasons that would prevent you from having a treatment, or if any oils are contraindicated.


Q: Do I need to remove clothing?

A: Yes, you will be asked to remove all clothing except your underwear - but you will be covered with towels and kept warm and cosy. Only the part of your body being worked on will be uncovered.


Q: Where will the treatment take place?


A: I have a treatment room here at my home in Alyth which is ideal for all treatments. It will enable you to be treated in a relaxing, soothing atmosphere. Allowing you to relax and unwind.

If you are elderly or have a disability I am also available as a mobile therapist - this is dependant on distance and will incur an extra charge


Q:What happens after the massage?


A: You will feel relaxed and more balanced, taking it easy after your treatment is very beneficial.

Some peopple feel energised and on "top of the world" after their treatment, in this case it is best to just enjoy this feeling and avoid any strenuous activity until the following day.

You may feel some contra-actions (side effects) but this is positive as it is indicating that the treatment has worked, and the body is detoxing. I will discuss this with you at the time.


Q: Can I buy oils to use at home?

A: If you would like a blend of the oils used during your treatment, I can make this up for you and advise you of the cost.

I do not sell essential oils- but can help you find a reputable supplier.


Q: I need to change my appointment, what should I do?

Cancellations 24 Hours Notice required - Clients who give less than the required 24 hours notice will be asked to pay the full fee.
